BlueBird Educational Foundation to Host Quartet

The BlueBird Educational Foundation is hosting a concert on Friday, December 7th at the Sunrise Theater Black Box. The Dominik Farinacci Quartet will be performing starting at 7pm. Farinacci is an American jazz trumpeter, composer, and big band leader.

BlueBird Educational Foundation is a local non-profit in Fort Pierce that supports students through scholarships and provides instruments to students in need. The organization was founded in 2008, with the goal of deepening music appreciation and expanding cultural
horizons.

“This is going to be an outstanding event,” stated T. Charles Shafer, a Board Member. “We’re excited to be able to bring this incredible quartet to Ft. Pierce for our local community to enjoy,” he added.

Shafer, a local attorney has been a volunteer Board Member with the Foundation since 2012. During that time he has been involved in numerous musical events in Ft. Pierce. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Law School and served as an Assistant Public Defender, prior to opening his own practice. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the ARC of St. Lucie County and has been active in Special Olympics and the Exchange Club
