What Is Expungement In Florida?

Video Transcription:

Expungement in Florida is a proceeding to physically erase your criminal record. In order to have that happen, you either have to have a case that was dismissed against you, or you would already have had your record sealed for a minimum of 10 years, and you’re able to come back to the court and ask the court later to expunge the record. In order to gain a sealing or expungement, you cannot have a prior criminal record in Florida or in any other state.
