The Police Want Me To Talk About A Crime They Think I Committed. Should I Comply?

Video Transcription:

If the police want to talk to you about a crime they think you committed, you should not, in any circumstance, talk to the police before you have talked with an experienced criminal defense attorney. The police are not there to be your friend; they’re there to gather evidence against you to see you prosecuted for that criminal offense. The best thing that you can do is tell them that you wish to talk with an attorney prior to ever answering any of their questions.
